The brief that we had received for this website was to achieve a clean design, which is easy to navigate and read with natural colours that does not over shadow the content.

It was agreed that because the New Forest Pony originated from England, oak trees and the leaves would make a great backdrop for the overall design.
Flash was developed for the front page to showcase some of the photographs in their gallery. The images rotate at intervals of 20 seconds giving the front page a dynamic feel.

The gallery and other areas of the website take great advantage of a lightbox style to showcase the images without being locked into the website page, this was very important to the NFPOB members when viewing the images full size.

This website was build with XHTML 1.0 and CSS and all pages are validated.
The New Forest Pony Owners and Breeders website will be converted to a Content Management System allowing the members to control the content fully.
